Federal Contract Requirements Due to federal contract requirements, United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph are required for the position.
Required Skills & Experience
Must be a US Citizen
Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph
Bachelor's Degree in technical discipline. Four (04) years of additional DB experience can be used in lieu of degree
At least ten (10) years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator.
Experience administering to, and engineering solutions with Postgres, MySQL & Oracle's database (10 - current).
Extensive experience with database design, as well as the collection and interpretation of customer requirements relevant to database migration, troubleshooting, performance observation and tuning.
Experience with the production and deployment of RAC, RMAN backup & recovery - desired
Experience with Oracle Exadata, DB security, Data Guard and/or DB Vault, Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control, label security, and data migration - desired
Designs and implements individual components of the Oracle products based on area of expertise.
Analyzes detailed requirements and develops detailed design for a specific Oracle product or technology.
Provide implementation services for a specific product to include extensions and additional configurations necessary to implement customer unique business processes and workflows.
Perform routine health checks and optimizations of system performance, availability, access controls and security.
Perform system optimization, performance tuning and assist in capacity planning.
Perform proactive analysis of potential issues, risks and roadblocks during system implementation and operations.
Compensation $125,000 - $225,000 a year. The pay range for this job, with multi-levels, is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
