Job Description
Design, develop, enhance, debug, and implement software solutions.
Debug production problems and troubleshoot software applications.
Research, test, build, and coordinate the conversion and integration of new products based on government requirements.
Analyze information to recommend, design, and plan development of new applications or modify existing ones.
Apply coding, testing standards, security testing tools (including fuzzing, static‑analysis, and code reviews).
Design, develop, and modify software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models for design predictions.
Determine and document software patches or releases that would leave software vulnerable.
Conduct trial runs of programs and software applications to ensure correct output, instructions, and security levels.
Develop secure code, error handling, software system testing, validation procedures, programming, and documentation.
Perform feasibility analysis on potential future projects for management.
Resolve problems with software and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
Instruct, assign, direct, and check the work of other software developers on the development team.
Participate in the development of software user manuals.
Translate security requirements into application design elements, conduct threat modeling, and define security criteria and implications in the software acceptance phase.
Qualifications
Active DoD Secret or Top Secret Level Clearance required.
MA/MS in Information Technology (focus on software development) with 5 years of experience OR BA/BS in Information Technology with 10 years of experience.
Valid security related certification (obtainable within 60 days): CISSP‑ISSAP, CSSLP, GSEC.
Valid technology area certification (obtainable within 60 days): Azure Database Administrator Associate, Data Science of America Senior Data Scientist, Identity and Access Administrator Associate, Azure Security Engineer Associate, Azure Network Engineer Associate, Cybersecurity Architect Expert, Security Operations Analyst Associate, Azure Data Fundamentals, Power BI Data Analyst Associate, Power Platform Fundamentals, Azure Data Scientist Associate, Azure Data Engineer Associate, Azure AI Engineer Associate, or AI Engineer Associate (365).
Pay $160,000 – $170,000 Annually
