Senior Manager Inflight Training Overview Sun Country Airlines is seeking a Senior Manager Inflight Training to be responsible for all Inflight Training Programs and Training Records. The Sr. Manager Inflight Training is responsible to ensure all Flight Attendant Training Programs and Training Records are developed and administered in compliance with Federal Regulations, Company, and Department policies.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities

Responsible for the development and performance of the Inflight Training Team

Revises and maintains the FAA Approved Flight Attendant Training Manual

Ensures Sun Country's Flight Attendant Training Programs meet the standards as approved by the FAA and necessary revisions are implemented in a timely manner

Maintains and tracks all required records concerning Flight Attendant Training in accordance with Federal Regulations and Company Policy

Oversees, develops, revises and maintains all Flight Attendant training materials and courseware ensuring the training programs meet the standards as approved by the FAA

Oversees the planning, scheduling, and coordination of all training events for Flight Attendants

Conducts regular Instructor audits to ensure compliant/standardized training

Audit current policies/procedures to ensure compliance with Federal Regulations and Transportation Security Administration Regulations

Responsible for selection, training, and oversight of Air Transportation Supervisors

Responsible for section and qualification of Air Transportation Ground Instructors

Support the Instructor Team through acquiring resources to be used in the classroom, assisting during training events, creating and conducting Instructor Training courses, etc.

Participates in both internal and external audits (FAA, TSA, IOSA, and DOD)

Responsible for management of the Inflight Training budget

Work on special projects as assigned by the VP, Inflight

Work non-standard hours for training events to include some nights and weekends

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent educational achievement

Previous or current Flight Attendant experience

3 years of experience as an Instructor/Facilitator and/or experience in Curriculum Development

Previous leadership experience

Previous experience interacting with various government agencies associated with Part 121 aviation operations

Ability to complete Sun Country Airlines Flight Attendant Training Program to obtain Flight Attendant Certification

Excellent facilitation skills - ability to comfortably address large groups of people

Solid knowledge of FAA and TSA regulations

Refined verbal and written communication skills

Working knowledge of Part 121 operations

Demonstrated ability to utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Demonstrates strong organization and time management skills as well as the ability to multi-task

Must be flexible with respect to work schedule and willing to assist and support the operation when needed

Qualified candidates must pass a criminal history background check as well as a pre-employment drug test

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred

Experience in electronic recordkeeping preferred

Experience in AQP preferred

Compensation Pay range: $75,000 - $85,000 annually. This is the base compensation hiring range for this role.
