Environmental Engineer / Senior Engineer - Stormwater Micron Technology, a world leader in memory and storage solutions, is building one of the most advanced semiconductor fabrication sites in the world in Boise, ID. As an Environmental Engineer on the EHS team, you will develop, implement, and continually improve Micron’s environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and protect company assets.

Responsibilities

Build and implement vital environmental programs that fulfill state, federal, and local requirements.

Lead and collaborate with operational teams to achieve compliance and sustainability goals.

Prepare compliance reports, quantify environmental impacts, and participate in regulatory inspections.

Manage Stormwater General and Construction Permits, Spill Control Countermeasures and Control Plan, and conduct inspections.

Manage hazardous waste programs, schedule shipments, and conduct inspections.

Lead compliance audits and implement follow‑up corrective actions to ensure compliance with applicable laws and ISO14001.

Represent Micron professionally to internal and external parties.

Respond to environmental issues and carry the on‑call phone when assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental or Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.

Prior experience managing environmental compliance programs.

Solid understanding of CWA, CAA, RCRA, CERCLA, and ISO14001.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous stormwater compliance experience.

Strong analytical, problem‑solving, interpersonal, and decision‑making skills.
