Project Management Lead Analyst
Location:
Orange, CT or Boston, MA
Salary Range:
Connecticut: $114,000 - $142,916; Massachusetts: $119,530 - $149,413 (dependent on experience)
Key Responsibilities
Work with the PMO Team to support demand management processes and standards.
Help project managers improve the integrity of project delivery and reporting.
Develop portfolio change suggestions to help achieve PMO metrics.
Assist in achieving PMO metrics by working with project managers.
Improve project managers' knowledge of reporting using the IT project management tool – Clarity.
Hold meetings with project managers to ensure timely and accurate project updates for key milestones, risks, and highlights.
Act as a resource for project management directions and provide training and guidance for new Project Managers.
Build and maintain productive relationships with project managers.
Identify and implement process improvements to help achieve PMO metrics and improve overall project delivery reporting.
Collaborate with both local and global PMO teams and with directors across the Avangrid portfolio.
Interface with global counterparts to review solution design and facilitate best practice process considerations.
Maintain a basic understanding of the Capex budget process and its impact on PMO metrics and deliverables.
Work closely with PMs across all IT areas (APPs, TPO, Financials, etc.) to support successful project delivery and reporting.
Engage managers across Avangrid to manage expectations.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field.
8 Years of relevant experience.
Certification for Project/Program management (preferred).
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Suite products.
Very strong skills in Microsoft Project and Excel.
Experience working cross-functionally.
Ability to lead, coach, and mentor others.
Project management knowledge including proper project scheduling and structure.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Ability to multitask.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Adaptability to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
Professional, confident, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to travel as needed.
