EBSCO Information Services is seeking a dynamic Senior Human Resources Business Partner (Sr. HRBP) to serve as a strategic advisor to business partners. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to collaborate from our Ipswich, MA or Birmingham, AL locations.
About the Role
The Senior HRBP will align HR strategies with business objectives, foster a high-performance culture, and ensure compliance with all employment laws and company policies. What You’ll Do
Collaborate with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that drive organizational effectiveness. Consult on workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development initiatives. Provide guidance on complex employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and practices. Support organizational design and team effectiveness strategies. Drive performance management processes, coach leaders on feedback and development conversations, and ensure alignment with company objectives. Partner with Compensation to ensure competitive and equitable compensation. Champion inclusion initiatives and foster an inclusive workplace culture. Ensure HR practices comply with federal, state, and local laws. About You
5–7 years of progressive experience in a Sr. Human Resources Business Partner role. Minimum of 4 years of direct experience in employee relations, including handling investigations, conflict resolution, and advising on discipline/corrective actions across all levels. Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA). Ability to influence and coach on strategic initiatives. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage time and meet communicated deadlines. Demonstrated critical thinking and problem‑solving skills. Pay Range
USD $71,935.00 - USD $123,318.00 /Yr. Hybrid position – candidates must be within a reasonable commuting distance of either our Ipswich, MA or Birmingham, AL locations.
