As a Project Management Consultant, you’ll join a team of professionals who are shaping the future of organizations across multiple industries, including technology, healthcare, financial services, and more. What You’ll Do
As a Resource Planner, you will play a key role in ensuring the right people with the right skills are in place to meet project and business objectives. You will: Develop and maintain resource plans and allocation strategies across multiple projects and programs. Collaborate with project managers and leadership to align staffing needs with project timelines and budgets. Analyze current and future capacity vs. demand to ensure optimal resource utilization. Maintain a skills inventory to track competencies, identify gaps, and support workforce development initiatives. Coordinate onboarding and ramp-up processes for new team members to ensure smooth integration. Monitor key resource metrics including utilization, availability, and workload balance, providing actionable insights and recommendations. Manage and continuously improve resource management tools, processes, and reporting to enhance decision-making efficiency. Support forecasting and workforce planning by analyzing project pipelines and historical trends. Partner with leadership to identify resourcing risks, such as overallocations or skill shortages, and implement mitigation plans. Prepare and present regular resource dashboards and governance reports to support strategic decisions. Who You Are
We’re looking for forward-thinking professionals who thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments. To succeed, you should have: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field. 3–8 years of experience in Resource Planning, Workforce Management, or Project Coordination (consulting or enterprise environment preferred). Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Experience using tools such as Primavera, Smartsheet, MS Project, or other resource management systems. PMP, CSM, or equivalent certification is a plus. Local to the Greater Boston Area What We Offer
