Nurse Practitioner (MNA)/Physician Assistant - Per Diem - Pediatric Urgent Care - Norwood
Join Atrius Health as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant supporting our Pediatric Urgent Care clinic at the Norwood site. The role is per diem with an as‑needed schedule, requiring weekend availability.
Responsibilities
Provide direct clinical care within an ambulatory pediatric practice, delivering comprehensive primary care to children.
Assess clinical problems, determine priorities of care, design and implement treatment plans, and seek or use consultation appropriately.
Deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care while maintaining accurate documentation and utilization standards.
Collaborate with the interprofessional team, ensuring seamless care coordination.
Qualifications
Education: For NP – Nationally certified as an FNP, PPCNP, or CPNP; graduate from an accredited master’s NP program; Massachusetts APRN licensure. For PA – Certified and licensed as a Physician Assistant in Massachusetts. NP/PA – Must maintain or be eligible for Mass DPH Controlled Substance registration and DEA registration.
Experience: Minimum of two years of pediatric ambulatory care experience preferred.
Skills: Strong critical thinking, problem‑solving, interpersonal, and patient interviewing skills. Self‑directed and highly motivated. Ability to interpret clinical information, prioritize, multitask, and thrive in a rapidly changing environment. Proficient with EMR and computer systems.
Availability: Weekend coverage required for this per diem position.
