Duties
Handle litigation matters related to the healthcare sector
Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, pleadings, and motions
Participate in depositions, hearings, and trials
Collaborate with partners and clients on case strategy and development
Manage case files and assist in fact investigation
Maintain awareness of regulatory and industry developments affecting healthcare litigation
Requirements
2+ years of litigation experience
Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction (GA, TX, CA, or D.C.)
Strong legal research, analytical, writing, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Prior experience with healthcare-related litigation is a plus but not required
Education
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Superior academic credentials required
Certifications
Active license to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction
Skills
Strong written and oral advocacy skills
Effective time and project management abilities
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage complex legal issues
Strong interpersonal and client service skills
Proficiency with legal research tools and litigation software
