Leidos’ Defense Systems Electronic Manufacturing Facility is seeking a 2nd Shift PCBA‑SMT Line Manager at our Electronics Manufacturing Facility. The role involves leading a 2nd Shift technician team that builds Printed Circuit Board Assemblies on SMT lines, AOI, X‑Ray, and hand soldering operations. Primary Responsibilities
Lead day‑to‑day safety, quality delivery, cost, and morale goals for the electronics team on SMT and PCBA soldering operations. Maintain manufacturing documentation, update system router steps, and communicate via email and Excel spreadsheets. Provide updates on schedule and cost to internal and external customers. Drive 5S efforts in labs and meet technicians’ day‑to‑day needs. Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 4‑8 years of relevant experience or a Master’s with 2‑6 years of relevant experience; High School diploma/GED with 10 years of experience is considered. Strong experience working with teams. Ability to multi‑task and meet multiple objectives over similar time periods. Must be a US Citizen with Final Secret Clearance or eligibility to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance. Preferred Qualifications
Experience running SMT equipment. Familiar with selective solder, hand solder, and other PCBA operations. Current or prior J‑STD‑001 certification. Current or prior IPC‑610 certification. Experience leading a team. Experience working 2nd shift. MES (Solumina or Aegis) build tracking experience. Pay Range
Pay Range $72,150.00 – $130,425.00. The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement, or other law.
