As Construction Director, you'll lead and manage field operations across multiple active projects, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence. Key responsibilities include: Provide strategic oversight and leadership to project teams and field staff Ensure consistent execution of construction processes across all job sites Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and executive leadership Monitor project performance and proactively resolve operational challenges Support preconstruction planning, scheduling, and resource allocation Uphold safety standards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements Mentor and develop field leaders, fostering a culture of accountability and growth Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and clients Contribute to continuous improvement of construction practices and systems Represent the construction team in executive meetings and strategic planning Profile
A successful Construction Director should have: 10+ years of experience in construction leadership Proven success managing multiple large-scale projects and field teams Strong understanding of construction sequencing, site logistics, and trade coordination Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to lead with both strategic vision and operational detail Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office OSHA 30 certification required; additional safety or leadership training a plus Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred Job Offer
