We are seeking an experienced AWS Java Technical Lead to lead the development and migration of enterprise applications to AWS. This role requires deep technical expertise in AWS native services, EKS, cloud migration and Java along with strong leadership skills to guide a team of developers and collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders across DevOps, InfraOps, IAM, InfoSec, Networking, and Business Units.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and deployment of cloud‑native applications using AWS services and Java Spring Boot.

Architect and implement scalable, secure, and resilient solutions using AWS native services (EKS, AWS batch, S3, Lambda, Step Function, Route 53, SNS, SQS, Fargate, ECS, EC2, etc.).

Drive modernization and migration of legacy applications to the AWS cloud.

Ensure best practices in coding, architecture, security, and performance.

Team Management

Lead and mentor a team of developers, ensuring timely and high‑quality deliverables.

Conduct code reviews, technical design sessions, and sprint planning.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Stakeholder Collaboration

Work closely with DevOps, InfraOps, IAM, InfoSec, Network & Connectivity, and Application Business Stakeholders to ensure alignment and smooth execution of cloud initiatives.

Translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate progress and risks effectively.

Required Qualifications

10+ years of experience in Java development, with 5+ years in AWS cloud‑native development.

Strong hands‑on experience with AWS native services (EKS, AWS batch, S3, Lambda, Step Function, Route 53, SNS, SQS, Fargate, ECS, EC2, etc.).

Proven experience in cloud migration projects (re‑platforming, re‑architecting).

Solid understanding of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Terraform, CloudFormation).

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Developer, or DevOps Engineer).

Experience working in hybrid or multi‑cloud environments.

Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks in cloud environments.

Experience with observability tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).
