Role Summary
Sr. AEM Architect contract role at HCL America Inc. location: Redmond, WA/Remote.
Responsibilities
Understanding of Java, Java EE, Servlets, HTL/Sightly skills, combined with a strong understanding of enterprise Java frameworks such as Spring.
Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS) or AEM 6.5.
Experience in creating Sling Servlets, OSGi Services (OSGi Annotations R6/R7).
Designs and builds reusable components, templates, dialogs, and workflows using the AEM architecture (Sling, CRX, OSGI, JCR).
Hands‑on experience on integration of external API endpoints.
Candidates should have an understanding of Java in the context of CQ5 and overall best CQ5 practices.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Docker, and containerized AEM environments.
Familiarity with front‑end technologies like HTML, CSS, JS/jQuery.
Qualifications
Valid U.S. work authorization to work in the United States.
Experience with AEM Cloud Service (AEMaaCS) or AEM 6.5.

Knowledge of OSGi Services and Sling architecture.
Experience with integrating external API endpoints.
CI/CD pipeline experience (Jenkins, Docker).
