Work closely with the President to shape and execute a comprehensive, action-oriented marketing and public relations strategy aligned with the College's mission. Develop and cast a compelling value proposition for prospective students, highlighting Broward College’s strengths, uniqueness, and opportunities. Analyze and map the entire student life cycle, focusing on conversion rates at every stage of the student experience. Conduct market analysis to address key questions including current and future state of the market landscape, student demographics and psychographics, and program enrollment drivers. Design, manage, and report outcome measurements for each initiative and review site analytics to recommend strategies for search engine optimization, internet advertising, and integration of social media with traditional marketing. Provide strategic direction and leadership for college-wide marketing and communications, including branding, creative services, outreach, integrated campaigns, institutional advertising, social media, public/media relations, community engagement, and outreach activities. Collaborate with Student Services to develop strategies that bolster student retention and completion rates. Manage crisis communications using NIMS/ICS protocols and update internal and external audiences via established communication channels. Team Leadership & Development
Lead, coach, and develop a marketing and public relations professional team, ensuring alignment with the College's strategic objectives. Qualifications
Master’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing, communications, or similar field, including five years in management. A strategic thinker capable of developing long‑term strategic marketing plans and seizing imminent opportunities. A leader who can execute and operationalize a vision. Detail‑oriented, creative, proactive, dynamic, and positive professional. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to inspire and mobilize diverse teams and stakeholders.
