Performance Test Lead
for our team in Fort Mill, SC. As a Performance Test Lead, you will act as a validation and quality assurance expert and review the functionality of existing systems. You will conduct requirement analysis, define test strategy & design, and lead execution to guarantee superior outcomes. Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. 4 years of information technology experience. Located within commuting distance of Fort Mill, SC or willing to relocate to this area. May require travel in the US and Canada. At least 4 years of software testing experience. Authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer‑based visa sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications
Review approved requirements and technical design documents and develop the performance test strategy and plan. Collaborate with Development, Architects, Business and Production Support during all stages of PTLC. Broad knowledge of performance testing methodology and tools with an understanding of a wide variety of technologies and architectures. In‑depth knowledge working with JMeter and Blazemeter; experience in HTTP, Java, Bean Shell, SOAP Samplers. Strong knowledge to design performance testing and monitoring framework for non‑functional testing (load, volume, stress, capacity and scalability). Strong knowledge in understanding SQL DB tuning, data requirements and batch jobs performance. Experience identifying and providing tuning recommendations for various infrastructure components such as Application Servers, Database Servers (SQL, MongoDB), Middleware (MQ, Kafka) and Web Servers along with long‑term architectural improvements. Responsible for implementing application and log monitoring solutions with a deep understanding of monitoring, profiling and tools such as Dynatrace, ELK, etc. Conduct application performance reviews with application teams to identify performance and application errors. Identify bottlenecks and tuning points, and collaborate with development, QA, DevOps, and Infrastructure regarding performance engineering, design, and testing. Working knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, Scrum methodologies. Manage projects and prioritize workload while meeting project milestones and deliverable dates. Knowledge of micro‑service architectures, Cloud (AWS/Azure) or hybrid infrastructure. Experience in investment management or capital markets domain is a plus. Good presentation and communication skills; excellent written and oral communication. The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. You should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face‑to‑face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
