Claims Account Manager – US Middle Market
AXA XL
is a global leader in insurance and reinsurance. This position is located in multiple locations across the US. You will manage claim accounts for customers in the growing US Mid-Market business unit, help sell AXA XL Claims value in the marketplace, and manage claims-related service issues.

Responsibilities
Represent AXA XL externally with brokers and customers, promoting the AXA XL claims value proposition to help distinguish us in the US Mid-Market marketplace.
Participate in marketing and business development activities, partnering with internal business colleagues to present AXA XL claim capabilities to brokers and prospective customers.
Complete new account implementations, including Welcome/Onboarding meetings with new insured, in‑house claim units, TPA and broker partners to ensure all parties are aware of their roles and responsibilities on the claim program.
Interact with the in‑house claim units and third-party administrator as needed, to develop, implement and monitor compliance with client‑specific instructions and any action plans related to performance on the claim program.
Manage the claim review process for the client, coordinating necessary internal and external resources to conduct the review and the review meeting.
Conduct meetings with clients and brokers as necessary to resolve issues and manage the ongoing client relationship.
Interact with the Claims Technical Team on losses; proactively communicate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver optimal claims service.
Lead client stewardship meetings to address performance of the Insured and opportunities for improvement, in participation with the in‑house claim units and third-party claims administrator.
Manage and participate in Lessons Learned calls with internal and external stakeholders.
Required Skills and Abilities
Broad claims account and vendor management experience – ideal candidates should have advanced experience within a TPA or insurance carrier.
Robust organizational abilities to track multiple projects and tasks.
Effective technical multi‑jurisdictional claims experience in a broad base of lines of business including Worker’s Compensation, Auto, General Liability, Property and Umbrella.
Technical skills with Excel, PowerPoint, Word and/or business intelligence tools to perform loss run data evaluations.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required; CPCU or similar designation preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation and presentation skills with ability to communicate internally and externally with senior management and business partners.
Travel up to 20% of the time.
