Wesley Manor Retirement Community is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Senior Living Director of Assisted Living and Memory Care to join our team. In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of exceptional resident services across our assisted living and memory care departments, ensuring the highest level of care and satisfaction for our residents. You will work closely with our dedicated team to create a warm and welcoming environment that promotes independence, dignity, and overall well-being.
Salary range Salary range of $80,000-$90,000 depending upon experience Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement resident care programs and services that meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents in both assisted living and memory care settings.
Oversee the assisted living and memory care departments, ensuring that all services provided align with our commitment to quality care and resident satisfaction.
Supervise and lead a team of resident services staff, including nurses, caregivers, and support personnel, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records across all departments.
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate and integrate services, ensuring a holistic approach to resident care.
Conduct regular assessments of residents' needs and develop individualized care plans tailored to the unique requirements of those in assisted living and memory care.
Foster a culture of resident engagement and empowerment, promoting socialization, activities, and events that enhance quality of life for all residents.
Act as a liaison between residents, families, and staff, addressing concerns and resolving issues in a timely and compassionate manner.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in senior living, particularly in assisted living and memory care, and implement innovative approaches to enhance resident services.
Participate in the recruitment, training, and development of staff, ensuring a high-performing and compassionate team.
Monitor and manage the department budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial goals.
Qualifications
RN/LPN – Active license in Kentucky.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role in senior living, assisted living, or a related healthcare setting.
Strong knowledge of resident care regulations, policies, and procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.
Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Compassionate and empathetic approach to resident care, with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Proficiency in computer systems and software applications relevant to resident services.
