is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer Specialist for a 12 month contract in Columbus, OH. The position is onsite; in‑person interviews are required.
Summary Client is looking for an experienced Microsoft Active Directory, Intune, and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) contract resource. Responsibilities include day‑to‑day administration, capacity and resiliency planning, migration to Intune and/or MECM, device deployment, device patching, AD group policy migration or troubleshooting, assisting customers with migration to enterprise domains, and standardizing onboarding.
Required Skills
Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) with co‑management experience.
Design and deploy MECM to complex networks.
Create and administer MECM collections, programs, and reports.
Troubleshoot MECM deployments and health issues.
Ensure consistent enterprise‑wide systems and security update delivery.
Windows server administration and network boundary management.
Teach and train technicians on MECM or Intune tasks.
Experience with Patch My PC and endpoint protection technologies is a plus.
Intune Administration
Expert level experience with Intune for corporate owned and personal devices across all supported OS.
Installation, implementation, and configuration of Intune profiles and policies for Windows, Android, and iOS.
Intune compliance and configuration profiles for all platforms.
PowerShell scripts for policy creation and Intune deployment.
Windows 10/11 Autopilot, feature updates, and BitLocker enforcement via Intune.
Security baseline policy deployment and Azure AD Join/Hybrid Join management.
Intune tenant administration and end‑point lifecycle management.
Design and implementation of IT infrastructure, troubleshooting, and solution delivery.
Provide proactive and reactive advice to customers and colleagues.
Intune Troubleshooting
Intune reports and endpoint analytics.
Configuration of Windows Autopilot and OS upgrade deployment.
Manage, support, and optimize mobile solutions and recommend future adjustments.
SSO, MFA, Azure AD Connect, and Azure AD directory service knowledge.
Application onboarding, packaging, provisioning, and deployment via Intune.
MMS and MSI packaging expertise.
Active Directory and Windows Administration
Active Directory group policy troubleshooting, domain migration, and Intune profile transition.
Microsoft Entra ID management in relation to Intune.
Active Directory and network file share management and permission configuration.
Remote file share access configuration and drive mapping for new paths.
Assist account security tasks with Microsoft Identity Manager and AD.
Experience with multi‑technology Windows domains and new group policy environment creation.
Desired Skills
Project management or co‑leading a technical project under a project manager.
Microsoft certifications for the listed technologies.
Create, test, and update disaster recovery plans.
Technical documentation and report creation.
Communication with project and leadership stakeholders.
Assistance to desktop support/Endpoint team during migration issues.
Independent and collaborative work in fast‑paced environments.
