Senior Oracle Database Administrator

Location:

Fairfax, VA (Onsite)

Salary:

$100,000 - $200,000 (150k - 300k including benefits)

Clearance:

Must hold an active TS/SCI

I am working with a leading Defense and Space organization, based in Fairfax, who are looking for an experienced Oracle DBA to support mission critical systems. Looking for a candidate that has experience working with Oracle 19c technologies and system administration practices in a Linux environment.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure and maintain

Oracle 19c, Clusterwase

and standalone database environments.

Develop and manage comprehensive

Oracle RMAN backup and recovery

strategies.

Oracle Data Guard

configuration, administration, and high availability concepts.

Oracle PL/SQL

and

SQL

programming

Create and maintain automation scripts in

Linux shell.

Required Experience

Oracle 19c RAC, Clusterware installation, patching and admin

Oracle 19c ASM installation, configuration and admin.

PL/SQL & SQL development experience

Linux shell scripting experience

Knowledge of Kubernetes concepts and deployment of Oracle.
