Senior Property Accountant (Hybrid) Location: Sandy Springs, GA

Base Pay Range: $80,000.00/yr – $100,000.00/yr

A Bit About Us We are partnering with a property management company seeking a Senior Property Accountant to prepare and analyze monthly financial statements for a portfolio of properties. This role covers financial reporting, reconciliations, audits, and collaboration with operations to ensure accurate and timely accounting.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements for assigned properties

Ensure compliance with GAAP and relevant regulations

Create and review detailed balance sheet reconciliations (prepaids, capex, property taxes, insurance, etc.)

Prepare bank reconciliations, journal entries, management fees, and distribution calculations

Assist with property budgets and forecasts

Handle treasury tasks including transfers, wires/ACH, and positive pay issues

Review accounts payable for accuracy, coding, and approvals

Partner with operations to resolve accounting questions and provide financial guidance

Support quarterly and annual external audits

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required

Minimum 3 years of accounting experience

Real estate industry experience/property accounting experience required

Strong knowledge of GAAP and property accounting principles

Entrata or Yardi software experience is a plus
