At Danfoss Drives, we develop technologies that enable a more sustainable tomorrow. During this 12‑month Trainee program in our Offenbach location, you will gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence to become a service professional for advanced drive systems and potentially advance your career within Danfoss as a permanent member of the field service team.
What You’ll Be Doing In this role, you will be trained and guided by our experienced Service Application Engineers. You will gain extensive hands‑on experience in the field and develop your knowledge on advanced drive technologies. Your tasks include
Intensive onboarding and structured training in our drive systems and service portfolio
Accompanying experienced colleagues on customer assignments across Germany
Rotating through key service delivery & support functions
Step‑by‑step development towards independent service work (e.g. commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, upgrades)
Involvement in customer projects and direct problem‑solving on site
Building up deep application know‑how and customer interaction skills
What We're Looking For
Qualified electrical technician (Elektrofachkraft) or equivalent vocational training / study degree paired with solid hands‑on technical skills
Enthusiasm for field service work and collaboration with customers
Strong problem‑solving mindset and customer‑oriented attitude
B Driver’s license and flexibility with regards to travel (40‑50% of working time, mainly within Germany)
Either fluent English language skills or fluent German combined with at least a good level of English
