Key Responsibilities
Enhance cloud security, automation, and monitoring processes.
Advise on cloud architecture, cost optimisation, and secure solution design.
Manage and respond to operational and security incidents effectively.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for scalable, compliant environments.
Continuously improve automation, reporting, and governance practices.
Ensure all cloud services meet security and operational readiness standards.
Evaluate and adopt new tools to strengthen observability and performance.
Mentor and support junior engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.
The Ideal Person
Proficient in cloud infrastructure development using IaC tools
Hands‑on experience with Azure.
Strong background in software development, ideally with C# / .NET.
Skilled in scripting with PowerShell, Bash, or Node.js.
Solid understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and serverless architectures.
Familiarity with CI/CD, deployment pipelines, and operational best practices.
Strong analytical mindset, communication skills, and attention to detail.
Proactive, self‑motivated, and capable of managing tasks independently.
Salary
- £60,000-65,000, with excellent benefits package
