About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Medical Officer for Primary Care to join their team. The CMO will be a key physician leader, dedicated to quality and the development of a collaborative, growth-oriented culture. This role is pivotal in driving the enhancement of value-based performance, with a focus on quality improvement, utilization and cost management, coding and documentation improvement, regulatory compliance, and patient experience enhancement. The successful candidate will work closely with other clinical and administrative leaders to ensure the effectiveness of care, coding, credentialing, and compliance across the primary care network.
Candidates for the CMO position must have a minimum of 5-10 years of clinical experience in primary care, a strong understanding of outpatient practice operations, and hold an MD or DO degree with appropriate board certification. The role requires a leader who is passionate about innovative care models and is committed to the mission of providing exceptional healthcare delivery. The CMO will be responsible for the oversight of all primary care physicians within the network, with a particular emphasis on care effectiveness and the optimization of information technology infrastructure and EHR systems. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and engaged physician, capable of fostering a culture of growth and collaboration, and will play a critical role in the expansion and development of the primary care network to meet the needs of the community.
