Overview
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate
Sales Representative
to join our
non-medical in-home caregiving team . This individual will be responsible for
building relationships, generating referrals, and increasing client enrollment
for our home care services across Mississippi. The ideal candidate combines strong communication and sales skills with a genuine passion for helping seniors and families find reliable, compassionate in-home care. Primary Responsibilities
Business Development & Relationship Building
Develop and maintain relationships with
referral sources , including hospitals, senior centers, assisted living communities, rehabilitation facilities, and physician offices.
Conduct
outreach visits
and presentations to educate community partners about the agency's non-medical home care services.
Identify new business opportunities and networks to expand the agency's presence in the community.
Attend community events, health fairs, and networking meetings to represent the agency professionally and positively.
Client Acquisition & Sales
Respond promptly to
inquiries from prospective clients and families , providing clear information about services, pricing, and care options.
Conduct
in-home consultations
(with or without the RN/care manager) to assess client needs and recommend appropriate service plans.
Manage the
sales pipeline , from initial contact through service initiation, ensuring all documentation and communication are timely and accurate.
Achieve monthly and quarterly
sales and referral targets
established by management.
Marketing & Outreach Support
Assist in the creation and distribution of
marketing materials , social media content, and promotional campaigns.
Maintain a detailed database of referral partners and outreach activities.
Collaborate with leadership to plan and execute
community marketing strategies
tailored to local demographics.
Gather feedback from referral partners and clients to improve service delivery and brand reputation.
Internal Collaboration
Work closely with
care coordinators, RNs, and administrators
to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.
Provide regular reports on sales activities, leads, and conversion rates.
Participate in
weekly team meetings
and contribute to business development planning.
Qualifications
Proven experience in
sales, marketing, or business development , preferably in
home care, senior care, healthcare, or related services .
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage time effectively.
Comfortable conducting in-person visits and presentations within assigned territory.
Valid
driver's license , reliable transportation, and willingness to travel locally.
High school diploma or equivalent required;
associate or bachelor's degree
in marketing, healthcare administration, or business preferred.
Preferred Skills & Attributes
Experience working with
non-medical home care agencies
or
Medicaid waiver programs
in Mississippi.
Knowledge of
Mississippi Department of Health regulations
governing non-medical home care.
Empathetic, service-oriented mindset with the ability to connect authentically with seniors and families.
Proficiency with
CRM systems , Microsoft Office, and online lead tracking tools.
Performance Metrics
Number of new client intakes per month.
Number of new and repeat referral sources.
Community engagement and event participation.
Client satisfaction and retention rates.
