The HR Director will oversee all HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and performance management. The role is a key liaison between employees and leadership, utilizing ADP Workforce Now to ensure efficient HR operations, compliance with Texas and federal employment laws, and support the company’s growth to over 50 employees in the coming years.
Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership
– Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR strategies with the company’s financial and operational goals; advise on organizational structure changes to support expansion.
Recruitment and Onboarding
– Lead end-to-end recruitment, create job descriptions, post openings on integrated platforms, conduct interviews; design and implement a streamlined onboarding program.
Employee Relations
– Serve as a trusted contact for employee concerns, mediate disputes, resolve conflicts; conduct engagement surveys and manage disciplinary actions in ADP Workforce Now.
Compensation & Benefits Administration
– Construct compensation packages for new employees; administer employee benefits programs, manage open enrollment and communications.
Compliance
– Ensure full compliance with Texas employment laws and federal regulations (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO); maintain accurate employee records in ADP Workforce Now for audit readiness.
Performance Management
– Train managers on effective performance reviews, facilitate annual reviews, document results.
Policy Development
– Draft, update, and communicate employee handbooks and HR policies; train employees and managers on policy updates, track acknowledgment forms.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or related field; Master’s degree or HR certification preferred.
Minimum of 7‑10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now for payroll, benefits, recruiting, and reporting; familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
Compensation $120,000 a year
