 Job Description: 
The lecturer will teach 3 courses per semester at the discretion of the department chair and perform services as necessary including:
- Organizing the Junior Accounting Orientation.
- Directing the EY Leads program.
- Attending department meetings and serving on selected School committees
Primary Responsibilities:
- Instruction and preparation. Will teach a 3-3 teaching load.
- Other services and duties such as JAO and EY Leads
Functional and Supervisory Relationships:
- Reports to: Chair, Dept of Accounting and Law
Job Requirements:
- Knowledge of different subjects of Accounting in order to teach them, including intermediate and advanced financial accounting, managerial accounting, auditing, accounting information systems, government and not-for-profit accounting, etc.
 Requirements: 
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's degree or doctorate degree (e.g. DBA) in Accounting or related field from a college or University accredited by the US Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization.
- In their application materials, candidates must address their plan and ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in varying modalities (in-person, online, and/or hybrid).
- Applicants must demonstrate an ability to develop inclusive and equitable relationships within our diverse campus community
- Applicants must demonstrate an ability to support diversity, equity, access, inclusion, and belonging relative to their role
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience teaching different courses in Accounting
- Potential to teach in the three graduate programs
- A PhD in Accounting or a related field (e.g. Analytics, MIS, Informatics or Economics) from a college or University accredited by the US Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization
- CPA - Current NYS CPA or equivalent
- Evidence of institutional service

Professional Rank and Salary Range: Lecturer (10 Months), A0, Salary commensurate with experience.
