Reports to: Chair, Dept of Accounting and Law Job Requirements / Qualifications
Knowledge of accounting subjects to teach, including intermediate and advanced financial accounting, managerial accounting, auditing, accounting information systems, government and not-for-profit accounting, etc. Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree or Doctorate (e.g., DBA) in Accounting or related field from a college or university accredited by the US Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization. In application materials, address plan and ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in varying modalities (in-person, online, and/or hybrid). Demonstrate ability to develop inclusive and equitable relationships within a diverse campus community and to support diversity, equity, access, inclusion, and belonging relative to the role. Preferred Qualifications: Experience teaching different Accounting courses; potential to teach in the three graduate programs; PhD in Accounting or related field (e.g., Analytics, MIS, Informatics or Economics); current NYS CPA or equivalent; evidence of institutional service.
