Accounting ClerkLHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for an accounting clerk for an automotive client in the West Chester, Oh area. Ideal candidates will have a strong combination of accounting and administrative experience and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This position is temp to hire and will pay between $18 and $22/hr. depending on experience. Duties:

The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable:
- Processes automotive deal paperwork, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company and regulatory standards
- Reviews and verifies sales contracts, finance documents, and related records for completeness
- Posts vehicle sales, purchases, and trade-ins to accounting systems
- Coordinates with sales, finance, and management teams to resolve discrepancies and obtain missing information
- Prepares and submits title and registration paperwork to appropriate agencies
- Reconciles deal funding, deposits, and payments with bank statements and internal records
- Maintains organized files for all deal documents and supports audits as needed
- Assists with month-end closing activities and reporting related to deal transactions
- Responds to internal and external inquiries regarding deal status and documentation
- Utilizes dealership management software and accounting systems to track and process transactions efficiently
- Prior accounting and administrative experience
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to work onsite in West Chester Ohio
- Able to work occasional overtime when needed
