Job Description

• Accounting Operations: Oversees general ledger functions, account reconciliations, and ensures the accuracy of financial records and transactions.
• Internal Controls & Compliance: Develops and implements internal controls, ensures adherence to accounting standards (like GAAP), and supports external audits.
• Team Leadership: Manages and trains accounting staff, provides guidance, and fosters a cohesive and competent finance team.
• Strategic Planning: Contributes to strategic thinking by providing financial information and recommendations to upper management, helping to align accounting goals with overall organizational objectives.
• Collaboration: Works with other departments to gather financial data and support sound decision-making.
• Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepares and reviews financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, and analyzes financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
