About the Senior Accountant Role

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant

• Prepare monthly financial statements, reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analyses.
• Collaborate with practice leaders to review and interpret financial results.
• Support annual financial and regulatory audits.
• Assist in consolidating multi-entity financial data and maintaining GAAP compliance.
• Help develop and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Contribute to treasury, cash management, accounts payable, and payroll processes.
• Participate in ERP and system improvement initiatives (NetSuite experience a plus).

Qualifications of the Senior Accountant

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
• 3-4+ years of progressive accounting experience; healthcare or multi-entity experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, monthly close processes, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in Excel; ERP system experience required (NetSuite preferred).
