What You’ll Do

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Monitor and control access points to help deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment at the location.
• Verify credentials and identification of individuals entering and exiting the premises in accordance with established protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal guidelines and site-specific instructions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to observe and report any irregularities or suspicious activities.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Collaborate with local authorities and site personnel as needed to address security-related concerns at the location.

• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements

• Possess a Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration.
• A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
