Job Summary
A Materials Analyst is needed for one of the world's largest suppliers of aerospace and defense products in the Medley, FL area. This role is responsible for creating, maintaining, and controlling MBOMs and Material Masters in an MRP/SAP system to ensure manufacturing and procurement alignment and material flow.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Planning, and Program Leads to establish and maintain the Manufacturing Bill of Material (MBOM).
Modify the Design Engineering BOM structure for Ease of Manufacturing purposes.
Maintain and monitor Part Master data and Product Structure in MRP systems throughout the lifecycle.
Incorporate changes to the MBOM as specified in approved Engineering Change documents.
Partner with Master Production Scheduling (MPS)/Integrated Production Leads (IPLs)/Production Control (PC)/Manufacturing Engineering (ME) to manage effective dates to minimize inventory and reduce residual inventory.
Define and communicate actions required by other organizations to implement Engineering Changes into work-in-process or purchased material.
Acquire basic understanding of the application of standards to MBOM data and unique data coding for special processes (e.g., outside processing).
Skills
Customer focused, effective prioritization, excellent written/oral communication.
Ability to research issues/develop solutions.
Analytics (attention to detail).
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with technical/engineering documents (EDM tool).
Master Data execution in an ERP environment (preferable SAP).
Experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, and Manufacturing environments.
Education And Experience
University degree with 2-4 years of experience, or
Associate's degree with 4 years of experience, or
6 years of experience (in the absence of a degree) in supply chain, operations, or a related field.
Qualifications
