Overview

One of our clients in the Chemical Manufacturing industry is seeking a Director of Operations. This role manages core operational functions including supply chain, procurement, warehouse operations, quality assurance, safety, and regulatory compliance. The Director is tasked with improving operational efficiency, aligning activities with strategic business goals, and ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards. A central focus of the role is leading initiatives to meet SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost) performance targets. Location

Compensation:

$200,000+ (20% bonus) Responsibilities

Lead safety initiatives and ensure compliance with all regulatory and environmental requirements. Drive continuous improvement across production, supply chain, and warehouse operations to enhance efficiency and profitability. Oversee integrated warehouse and logistics operations, including inventory management and storage optimization. Manage end-to-end supply chain activities from procurement through delivery, including vendor and logistics partnerships. Develop and manage budgets, capital plans, and team performance while aligning operations with broader business strategies. Qualifications

Experience & Education : Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, or a related field, with 15+ years of operations experience, including plant leadership. Operational Leadership : Proven success managing mid-scale manufacturing operations, including RMP facilities, safety programs, and warehouse functions. Project & Team Management : Strong project management skills and the ability to lead diverse, cross-functional teams in dynamic environments. Process & Compliance Expertise : Deep knowledge of process optimization, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance in hazardous and warehouse settings. Strategic & Financial Acumen : Skilled in budgeting, capital planning, stakeholder engagement, and aligning operations with broader business goals.
