Benefits & HRIS Analyst - Physician's Organization
Position Summary
Supports Physician’s Organization Benefits & HRIS team in administration of employee benefit program daily operational activities. Assists PO Benefits & HRIS Team in the maintenance of the Human Resources master file information on employee records, using the automated HRMS systems covering personal, position, pay, benefits, status, and activity data. Administers daily service of HRIS customers seeking assistance with HR applications, data questions, and related problems.
Key Responsibilities
Benefits: Supports PO Benefits & HRIS team in administration of benefit plans in compliance with plan documents and contracts. Performs day‑to‑day operational activities including coordination and communication with external benefit vendors, prepares and processes all internal monthly departmental invoices, pays carriers, processes documents with accuracy, maintains records for implementing, changing, or terminating coverage, maintains accurate and current information on plan participants, services, and costs, audits periodically to ensure conformity with federal/state regulations, administers the annual enrollment process and works with the team on employee benefits orientation and problem resolution.
HRIS: Administers employee transactions submitted by departments via the automated HRMS system, implements change actions for employees and enters changes into the HR information system, supports staff in the entry of new‑hire/rehire employee data and ensures data integrity, creates and executes queries as needed, provides timely and accurate information in response to user inquiries, reviews and clarifies internal processes of the automated HRMS system for PO Management staff, serves as liaison with internal & external partners to communicate functional information about system enhancements and tests enhancements, supports Foundation needs for HRIS system attributes and engages in special projects and integration of workflow activities.
Minimum Qualifications Education
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, finance, or a closely related field required.
Experience
3 years’ experience with strong knowledge of plan design, automation, administration, and compliance for HRIS and health and welfare programs required.
3 years of ADP Workforce Now experience preferred.
