As the Benefits and HR Operations Associate, you will focus on the practical, day‑to‑day administration of employee benefits and HR processes, ensuring accurate data, efficient workflows, and a positive employee experience.
You will handle a wide range of tasks, including benefit enrollment, leave administration, and providing essential administrative support to the HR department.
This role is based in our office with the expectation that employees are onsite four days per week (M–Th), supporting in‑person collaboration, connection, and shared momentum.
Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain all employee information in the HRIS (ADP), including new hire profiles, employee changes, and terminations.
Partner with the TA team and HRBPs to onboard new hires, taking ownership of activities related to new hire profiles in the HRIS, I‑9 verifications, benefits enrollment, etc.
Work closely with vendors and third‑party administrators to ensure effective benefits administration, PO creation, invoicing, and swift resolution of any issue.
Respond promptly to questions from employees and managers regarding benefits plan provisions, enrollments, status changes, and general inquiries.
Assist with leave‑of‑absence requests and disability paperwork, including medical, personal, disability, and FMLA leave, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
Assist in coordinating and delivering new‑hire orientations, ensuring smooth and accurate onboarding of benefits programs.
Create and maintain employee‑facing communications to assist with employee self‑service and other HR‑related processes and systems. Ensure benefit information, documents & presentations are up to date on employee‑facing portals.
Assist with driving benefits and wellness program initiatives.
Respond to verbal and written verification of employment and credentialing requests as needed.
Support in the development and maintenance of HR reports, data dashboards and intranet.
Partner with Finance to facilitate payroll, reporting and respond to unemployment claims.
Identify and drive process improvements.
Qualifications
2‑3 years of benefits administration and general HR experience.
Exceptional problem‑solving ability and ability to operate independently.
Professional written communication skills.
Strong track record of operational excellence when multitasking in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
Able to adapt to unique, in‑the‑moment challenges in a calm and professional manner.
