– Based in Dallas, TX Base pay range

$80,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr Responsibilities

Tax Compliance & Reporting: Act as the company-wide lead for all tax-related matters including federal, state, and local income tax returns, sales/use tax, and property tax filings across 30+ states Ensure timely and accurate filing of all required tax returns, extensions, and estimated tax payments Manage annual tax provision process in accordance with GAAP, including deferred tax calculations Identify and implement tax planning strategies to optimize the company’s effective tax rate and cash flow Advise leadership on implications of business transactions, acquisitions, and expansions Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and assess potential impact on the business Serve as primary contact for federal, state, and local tax audits, examinations, and inquiries Develop processes to ensure compliance and reduce exposure to penalties and interest Maintain strong internal controls and documentation supporting tax positions Financial Close & Analysis Support: Partner with the Controller and Finance team to support month-end close activities Assist in preparing consolidated financial statements Provide financial analysis on trends, tax impacts, and operational performance to support decision-making Support special projects such as acquisitions and private equity partnerships Partner with Accounting and Finance teams to ensure accurate tax accounting and reporting Support cross-functional teams with tax-related guidance on contracts, real estate, payroll, and vendor agreements Manage external tax advisors, consultants, and technology providers Career growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding national organization Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s degree is a plus) and at least 3 years of progressive tax experience CPA is a plus Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data analysis Strong communication skills and experience working with C-suite executives High level of responsiveness and professionalism Proficiency in ERP Systems, Google Suite, PowerBI, and other data visualization tools Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills Seniority level
