Director of Operations
to oversee the day-to-day activities of our
Southeastern Region , ensuring that the team is managed and performing efficiently and effectively. This is a key position that will work closely with the Leadership team on strategic initiatives and process implementation.
Spread's current Southeast region consists of Charleston, Savannah, and Atlanta.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness across all store locations throughout the Southeast Region
Develop and implement strategic plans that drive business growth and operational excellence
Assist in the preparation and evaluation of budgets and COGS in each store to achieve financial objectives
Collaborate with senior leadership to establish performance metrics and monitor progress towards goals
Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors, suppliers, and partners to optimize business development opportunities
Identify areas for process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance operational workflows
Foster a culture of leadership by mentoring and developing team members to achieve their full potential
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards while maintaining high-quality service delivery
Qualifications
5-7+ years' experience in a Leadership role within the Restaurant Industry
Experience managing multi-unit restaurants with a focus on driving operational excellence
Proven experience in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures
Strong financial, budgetary, and cost control knowledge
Strong knowledge of food industry, health code, food safety and sanitation
Servsafe certification required within (1) month of hire
Experience with POS and Inventory Management systems; Toast POS, 7shifts, xtraChef a plus
Conflict resolution and/or mediation skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
