Area Sales Manager – Specialty Rental (ASM – Outside Salesperson) - Shreveport, LA
Join Atlas Copco to drive revenue, grow market share, and build strong customer relationships across the specialty rental and steam solutions industries.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and qualify sales opportunities through site visits, business meetings, and cold calling.
Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers while developing new accounts.
Analyze territory trends and market data to inform strategy.
Lead the full sales cycle: prospecting, solution design, quoting, negotiation, installation, and post‑sale support.
Create and deliver tailored presentations that address customer pain points.
Track opportunities and update CRM (Salesforce) with high‑quality, timely data.
Develop and execute a territory business plan aligned with company goals and KPIs.
Monitor competitor activity and market trends.
Collaborate with technical teams to assess customer needs, size equipment, and develop solutions.
Assist with onboarding and equipment training at customer sites.
Qualifications
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field, or equivalent industry experience.
3–5 years of successful outside sales experience in industrial equipment or services such as air compressors, boilers, chillers, steam generators, or HVAC.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent time management, organizational, and independent work abilities.
Growth mindset, resilient approach to challenges, and solution‑selling capabilities.
Clean driving record for the past 36 months and a valid driver’s license.
