Base Pay Range $99,200.00/yr - $168,900.00/yr
Job Overview Edward Jones is seeking a Senior Analytic Consultant to proactively identify, analyze, and solve moderate to complex problems. The role collaborates with senior leaders and executives to integrate analytics into firm strategy, support data‑driven decision making, and drive implementation of analytics solutions across the organization.
Responsibilities
Influence and inform firm strategy through strong thought leadership and professional expertise.
Proactively identify, thoroughly analyze, and solve moderate to high impact and/or complexity problems.
Partner with senior leaders and executives to integrate analytics into firm strategy and business decisions, supporting increased use of data‑driven decision making.
Develop and manage strategic relationships with senior leaders across the organization.
Drive implementation of solutions by partnering with key stakeholders from across the firm to ensure analytics projects are successfully implemented by business areas.
Conceptualize analytical deliverables and determine appropriate analytical approach(es).
Help key stakeholders understand trade‑offs between various approaches.
Work effectively in a matrixed analytics organization, identifying, directing, and coordinating resources (people, systems, tools) not in your chain of command and recommending priority of work execution.
Participate in and frequently lead cross‑functional teams responsible for implementing projects in support of divisional or firm‑wide business objectives.
Develop division, program and/or firm‑level measurements to influence strategic direction.
Qualifications
7–10 years of prior relevant experience.
Advanced PowerPoint skills.
Proven ability to influence through data‑driven storytelling.
Experience in project management.
Ability to manage and champion change (intake change, advocate for it and influence others to be part of the change).
Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree in Business, Economics, Data Science, or Analytics (preferred).
CFP and CFA designations (preferred).
Management consulting or similar experience (preferred).
Financial services industry experience (preferred).
Working knowledge of Agile principles (preferred).
Familiarity with modern data technologies (preferred).
Experience with consulting on artificial intelligence adoption (preferred).
Live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations and expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday (required).
