Responsibilities As a Sr Advanced Quality Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of quality for our products and processes. You will lead and drive advanced quality engineering activities, implementing robust quality control measures and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Performance Metrics
External and internal audit findings
Corrective Action Response, Implementation and Effectiveness
Open/Aging Q1 QN's
Review, Manage, Issue Notices of Escape as contractually required
Customer Quality Scorecards
Customer Audits and Surveillance Audits
Key Responsibilities
Monitor contract performance against defined quality scope, and identify areas for assertion
Participate in program reviews, customer meetings, monthly reporting, and risk and opportunity management as required
Ensure Quality Contract deliverables are aligned with site and business requirements
Leads, trains and mentor’s other engineers and technicians
Undertake the development and implementation of advanced quality control processes and procedures through projects and continuous improvement initiatives to support customer quality
Engage in the continuous monitoring and analysis of intricate quality performance metrics.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support delivery of quality products to customers
Guarantee and maintain strict compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Support and lead product change notices
Additional Duties as required
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
8+ years of experience in the manufacturing industry, demonstrating your understanding of the unique quality challenges in this sector
2+ years in a customer facing role
Advanced knowledge of quality control methodologies, tools, and techniques.
Advanced collaboration and teamwork skills
Strong knowledge of quality engineering methodologies and tools
AS9100/ISO9001 Audit Experience
Experience with DFAR and FAR Requirements
YOU MUST HAVE U.S. citizen
WE VALUE
Master’s degree preferred.
Certification in project management, such as PMP (Project Management Professional).
Additional certifications in quality management, such as Six Sigma Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE), or Internal Auditor Certification
Proficiency in advanced quality tools and methodologies, such as Design of Experiments (DOE), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
Proficiency in change management methodologies.
Demonstrates working under minimal supervision, with latitude for independent action and decision making
FAR 12 & FAR 15 Familiarity
Demonstrated ability providing technical guidance, project management guidance, consultative services, and innovative solutions to leadership
