Our client, a growing professional services firm is seeking a Tax Manager with expertise in multi‑entity tax return preparation (1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065). The Tax Manager will oversee a designated client portfolio, serving as their primary point of contact for accounting and tax matters.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare individual and business tax returns and projections.
Review tax returns completed by other team members.
Conduct client‑specific tax research as needed.
Prepare and file sales tax returns.
Oversee tax season workflow and planning.
Process monthly journal entries, calculate accruals, and handle advanced bookkeeping tasks.
Review month‑end financial statements for accuracy and reasonableness.
Oversee bookkeeping operations and monitor staff adherence to client deadlines.
Serve as the primary accounting liaison for assigned clients.
Implement consistent bookkeeping standards across your client portfolio.
Monitor month‑end closing schedules and deadline compliance.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting with active CPA license or working towards.
5+ years of accounting experience (CPA firm or multi‑company environment preferred).
Knowledge of QuickBooks Online or Intuit ProConnect preferred.
