We're actively seeking a talented Senior Instructional Designer to join our Consumer Markets Division, Sales Enablement Team in Newport Beach, CA or Omaha, NE.

As a Senior Instructional Designer, you'll move Pacific Life, and your career, forward by leading the development of engaging, effective training solutions across the sales enablement team. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in instructional design, eLearning development, and project management, with a strong focus on details, quality, creativity, and learner outcomes.

How you'll help move us forward

Design and develop a wide range of training products, including eLearning modules, multimedia content, mobile learning, and classroom materials.

Apply instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE and SAM) to ensure effective learning experience.

Conduct needs assessments, create task plans, create prototypes, create storyboards, write learning objectives, and develop evaluation strategies.

Lead media development efforts including simulations, animated videos, games, voiceovers, video production, and interactive content using authoring tools such as Articulate, Camtasia and Vyond.

Work with LMS/LXP platform administrators, business partners and/or project team members to define and implement learning platform strategies.

Collaborate with subject-matter experts to build content and conduct pilot testing for continuous improvement.

Understand how AI technology is impacting the training industry.

The experience you bring

Bachelor's degree in Instructional Technology or related field; emphasis on digital media preferred.

Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Working knowledge of LMS platforms and adult learning theories.

Excellent communication and coaching skills.

Base Pay Range $105,120.00 - $128,480.00
