We are seeking an

E-Billing Specialist

to join the Accounting Department at

Fox Rothschild .

Essential Functions

Submit invoices through the e-billing system and document progress within eHub and eBilling Tracker.

Review newly opened client matters for assigned attorneys to determine availability through e-billing websites.

Monitor e-billing daily for new invoices and rejections; review the timekeeper report for new timekeepers that may require approval.

Ensure successful submissions of e-billed clients and assist with resolution of any rejections.

Assist attorneys, Client Service Specialists, and clients with day‑to‑day e‑billing questions and concerns.

Verify that client setup, rates, and billing requirements are correct in the eBilling system.

Submit rate requests to related vendor sites as required.

Provide updates regarding invoice status to Client Billing Manager.

Ensure all tasks comply with firm and client billing guidelines and policies.

Work closely with supervisor and managers to resolve any e‑billing or client e‑billing issues.

Submit invoices through the e-billing system and document progress within BillBlast and the eBilling Portal.

Submit monthly/quarterly accruals as required.

Provide updates regarding invoice status to Billing Supervisors/Director of Billing.

Additional Functions

Other accounting duties and special projects as assigned.

Education and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Financial Analysis, Management or a related field preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience

Minimum of five (5) years’ e-billing experience in a law firm (preferred) or another professional services organization.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Ability to use vendor websites and BillBlast for electronic billing.

Previous experience with 3E or Elite accounting systems strongly preferred.

Excellent customer service skills.

Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, highly organized, and reliable with the ability to multitask and work independently as well as in a team.

Strong oral and written communication skills and accuracy.

Proactive, works well under pressure, and excels in a fast‑paced environment.

Professional and courteous communication with clients, attorneys, paralegals, and staff.

Demonstrated experience using accounting computer systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Work Environment & Physical Demands

This job operates in a clerical, office setting with standard equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Requirements Sedentary work: Exertion of physical strength to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 10 pounds. Work involves sitting most of the time; walking and standing are often necessary.

Visual Acuity Worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform activity such as preparing and analyzing data, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading.
