Environmental Services / Custodial Operations Manager 1
Sodexo is hiring our Environmental Services Custodial Operations Managers for a large account in the Memphis, TN area. Reporting to the Director of Custodial Operations, the successful candidate will have demonstrated experience managing custodial services in a large facility, walk around daily and inspect sanitation and remain proactive in keeping our property pristine. Technical knowledge of floor care and custodial equipment and chemicals and experience managing a cohesive team with the flexibility to jump in and help hands‑on as needed is required.
Valid driver's license and clear background required.
What You’ll Do
Lead teams and departmental projects and initiatives.
Effectively manage the Unit Operating System.
Schedule, supervise, and inspect sanitation.
Monitor special event preparations for flawless execution.
Provide a clean and safe environment for students, visitors, and staff.
Execute the pristine appearance of assigned buildings through weekly inspections.
At the close of shift, relay full details and pertinent information to the overnight shift team.

What You Bring
Consistently work the 2:00pm-10:30pm Monday through Friday shift, helping hands‑on as needed.
Experience leading, training and managing a team to develop and motivate our team to exceed the expectations of our clients and customers in service delivery.
Results and safety driven mindset.
Successful experience managing COVID response.
Demonstrated history of managing work orders in a CMMS.
Ability to monitor compliance and reach project target dates of completion.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to work independently to drive program goals.
Experience managing our team through positive and constructive feedback to employees to reward, coach, correct and motivate them.
Experience hiring team members, documenting timely interviews following Sodexo timeline and policy for the interview process.
Qualifications & Requirements Minimum Education Requirement – Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience.
Valid driver's license with clear background required.
