is seeking a detail-oriented and persuasive
Associate Attorney
to join our litigation team. This role is ideal for an attorney with strong legal writing skills who is passionate about advocating for consumer rights and ensuring attorneys’ fees are fully and fairly recovered.
About Us: We are a plaintiff-side firm focused on representing consumers in California Lemon Law cases. With a reputation for results and client service, we handle every aspect of vehicle defect litigation—from intake through trial and resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
Represent clients in all phases of litigation, including pre-trial hearings, depositions, mediation, trial, and post-trial motions.
Develop case strategies, draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and legal briefs.
Conduct legal research and analyze laws, regulations, and case precedents relevant to each case.
Prepare witnesses and clients for depositions and trial testimony.
Negotiate settlements and plea agreements when appropriate.
Maintain communication with clients, keeping them informed of case progress and strategy.
Collaborate with paralegals, investigators, and other attorneys to build strong cases.
Manage deadlines, filings, and court appearances efficiently.
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in the California State Bar.
1-10+ years of litigation or motion practice experience.
Exceptional legal writing and research skills.
Strong attention to detail and comfort working with billing data and court filings.
Familiarity with California’s Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act (Lemon Law) is a plus, but not required.
What We Offer:
Salary - $200,000-$260,000/year
