Role Description This is a full-time or part-time on-site role for an Optometrist located in San Ramon, CA. The Optometrist will be responsible for conducting routine eye exams, diagnosing and treating eye diseases, and prescribing corrective lenses. Additionally, the Optometrist will conduct vision therapy and care related to contact lenses and other eye care products. The Optometrist will also provide pre‑and post‑operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries.
Qualifications
Proficiency in conducting routine eye exams and diagnosing eye conditions
Experience in prescribing corrective lenses and providing vision therapy
Skills in diagnosing and treating eye diseases
Ability to provide pre‑and post‑operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry program
Valid state optometry license and credentials
Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus
