About the role We are looking for an exceptionally motivated, talented, and experienced Senior Accessibility Product Manager Technical with strong customer obsession and a track record of innovation in developing accessible user interfaces, to join the Trust, Privacy, and Accessibility team within Devices & Services. You will work across Devices & Services to raise the bar on the accessibility of our offerings, including inventing new ways for customers with disabilities to interact with our diverse set of devices and services offerings. You will maintain and raise the bar on our internal accessibility standards and lead projects staffed both with our accessibility engineering team and engineering partner teams within Devices & Services to deliver accessibility solutions to ship across the half a billion devices Amazon has shipped over the past 15 years.
Key responsibilities
Reviewing product roadmaps across Devices & Services, and drafting proposals for how to best address accessibility in those roadmaps
Managing and participating in accessibility initiatives such as our Accessibility Bar Raiser program and Trust by Design accessibility reviews
Drafting and presenting specific proposals for new accessibility features to leadership
Working with user research to better understand user needs and desires, and how well particular designs and approaches are accepted by customers
Working with accessibility engineering and prototyping to explore accessible user interaction models
Working with QA to provide guidance on issue priorities
Maintaining and enhancing our internal accessibility requirements and FAQs
Day in the life In this role, no two days are the same — and that’s by design. You will spend a good part of your time engaging with a wide range of partner teams across product, UX, research, engineering, legal, and other product teams to gather insights, clarify accessibility requirements, and uncover both issues and opportunities. You’ll participate in regular brainstorming sessions to shape new ideas, solve complex accessibility problems, and design fixes that address not just immediate needs, but also set us up for long‑term success. You will meet with customers at disability conferences throughout the year, representing Amazon and our accessibility offerings, and learning about what customers love, what could work better, and what they wish we might offer.
About the Team You would be joining Amazon’s largest, and longest tenured, accessibility team. Over the past 12 years, their work was recognized by American Foundation for the Blind with their Helen Keller Achievement award, by Disability:IN with their Marketplace Innovator award, and by FCC Chairman Ajit Pai with the FCC Chairman’s Award for Advancements in Accessibility (among others). Your colleagues bring over a century of combined experience in the field, and include Amazon’s sole MacArthur Fellow, and two of the only three people to be recognized twice with Helen Keller Achievement Awards for their work.
Basic Qualifications
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
Experience managing technical products or online services
Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive‑level prioritization and planning
7+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Deep understanding of disability needs and accessibility solutions
Track record of delivering accessible products and assistive technologies
Strong understanding of technical accessibility standards
Experience with Generative AI tools, both for efficiency gains and use in prototyping

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign‑on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
