Care Partner - PACU
SSM Health is seeking a dedicated Care Partner to provide skilled bedside patient care in the Post‑Acute Care Unit (PACU) under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities
Deliver patient care in accordance with the patient’s plan of care, including medication administration, monitoring, and therapeutic interventions.
Assist nurses and physicians with procedures and maintain knowledge of aseptic technique and medical equipment.
Perform unit clerical duties, including chart transcription, order updates, and patient room preparation.
Maintain a safe and clean environment by managing supplies, equipment, and housekeeping needs.
Respond to patient, family, and visitor needs with prompt, courteous attention and service recovery when necessary.
Qualifications
High School graduate or GED equivalent; post‑secondary training preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional certifications (e.g., Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support) are an asset.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a interdisciplinary team.
