What You’ll Do

Design and implement test automation frameworks using Python and pytest.

Build and maintain scalable test infrastructure and tooling.

Develop comprehensive functional and API testing for platform services and workflows.

Implement performance testing strategies for high-throughput systems.

Create test suites with intelligent test distribution and parallel execution.

Establish best practices for test development and code quality.

Mentor team members on testing methodologies and automation approaches.

Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate testing into development workflows.

What You’ll Bring

5+ years of experience in test automation engineering.

Expert-level Python programming skills with async/await patterns.

Strong experience with pytest framework, fixtures, and plugins.

Proven experience with functional testing, API testing methodologies, and authentication flows.

Background with cloud services and backend service validation.

Track record of building high-performance test execution frameworks.

Experience managing CI/CD pipelines and test infrastructure.

Advanced debugging and problem-solving abilities.

Experience with containerization (Docker) and version control (Git) for collaborative development.

Compensation The annual salary range for this position is $99,000.00–$198,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses and equity opportunities such as stock options.

Minimum Qualifications Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area. Option 2: 6 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 2 years' experience in software engineering or related area. We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing WCAG 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly into products and services.
