Title: R&D Software Engineer III Location: San Diego, CA Duration: 6 Months | 100% Onsite Pay Range: $56/ hr to $60/ hr (On W2) We are looking for a “R&D Software Engineer III ” to join one of our Leading Healthcare Client. Position Summary We are seeking an experienced R&D Software Engineer III to lead the technical implementation of cloud-based solutions. This hands-on role involves close collaboration with global software teams to develop, enhance, and support software products, while promoting Agile development and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead cloud solution development, working with local and remote teams. Define project scope, timelines, and ensure high-quality delivery. Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement best practices. Collaborate across functions including V&V and QA. Ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (MS preferred). 10+ years of experience in software/system development, preferably in connected device or medical device environments. Strong Agile background (SCRUM, TDD, Kanban). Technical Skills Cloud: Azure (Functions, App Services, AKS, Key Vault, etc.) Identity Platforms: Azure AD/Entra ID, Okta Programming: Python, C#, REST APIs (FastAPI, ASP.NET Core) CI/CD: Azure DevOps, Jenkins IaC: Terraform Frontend: React, Angular Tools: Veracode, Fortify, Log Analytics Strong understanding of OAuth 2.0, OpenID, TLS, and cybersecurity. Preferred Experience with medical device regulations (ISO 13485, IEC 62304, FDA 21 CFR Part 820). Familiarity with cloud testing and post-market software validation.
